Tai Chi Fundamentals (ONLINE)

This class welcomes anyone interested in experiencing the value of a Tai Chi practice, beginners as well as those who have taken classes before. Together we will develop the gentle, flowing Tai Chi movements known to promote health and feelings of relaxation and well-being. The many benefits of regular tai chi practice include better balance, flexibility and coordination, improvement in the immune system, simple breathing awareness, improved mood and reduced feelings of stress.  Join us and discover why Tai Chi has been called the perfect exercise and "meditation in motion."

Nonny Levy

Nonny Levy has practiced Tai Chi and Qigong for 30 years.  She has taught at the Steinberg Wellness Center for 8 years and has received Instructor Certification from Dr. Ming Wu.  In 2022, Nonny earned additional certification through the 4 year Tree of Life Center Tai Chi Teacher Training Program with Dr. Peter Wayne, well known for evidence-based Tai Chi research.

Nonny has a Masters Degree in Social Work and is a licensed psychotherapist in clinical practice.
She enjoys sharing with others the benefits of Tai Chi for body, mind, and spirit.
