Dr. Tami DeAngelis, PT, DPT, received her masters in physical therapy from Boston University, her doctorate of physical therapy from Temple University, and later became board-certified as a geriatric clinical specialist. She has more than 20 years of experience in acute care, rehab, neurological outpatient and research settings. Tami works currently as a mobile physical therapist at Healthy Aging Physical Therapy, working with older adults living in the Concord, Lexington, Arlington and Bedford communities, in the comfort of their own homes. In this role, she works with her clients to recover and rehabilitate from the illness and injuries, like osteoporosis, frequently experienced by the aging adult. Through her varied research and academic experiences, Tami approaches clinical care with a strong emphasis on evidence-based treatment and patient education. Tami spends time working with her patients to identify their barriers to wellness and is proud of her success rate in making exercisers out of non-exercisers!
