Running Conditioning Clinic

Designed by a physical therapist, this twice weekly, four-week program instructs runners on specific warm-up activities, stretching exercises, strength/core stability exercises and yoga and flexibility to improve running performance and decrease the likelihood of injury.

Meghan Coughlin

Meghan Coughlin, PTA, ATC, is a physical therapist assistant with Emerson's Clough Family Center for Rehabilitative and Sports therapies. She has more than 20 years of experience in secondary schools and outpatient orthopedic settings treating high school, college and professional athletes. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a bachelor’s in exercise science and earned an associate’s degree from Bay State College as a physical therapist assistant. Meghan holds a master’s in sports medicine from the United States Sports Academy and is certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association. Her clinical interests include orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, management and prevention of running injuries, yoga therapy and prevention and rehab of ACL injuries.
