Rewind Yoga for Boomers & Seniors

An all-encompassing evidence-based mind-body yoga program designed for of boomers and seniors and developed by YMEDICA, specializing in the medical and therapeutic applications of yoga. Incorporates specific yoga poses and adaptations, breathing practices and mindfulness techniques shown to help improve functional fitness and balance, reduce stress and alleviate symptoms associated with chronic conditions.

Susan Chormann

Susan has been practicing and studying yoga since the mid 1990s. She became a certified instructor in 2001 and has been teaching consistently for over 14 years. In addition to her 200-hour certification, she is certified in trauma-informed yoga, Love Your Brain yoga for traumatic brain injury and concussion, yoga for pregnancy, yoga for children, yoga for seniors and Thai Yoga massage. Susan has also done extensive advanced training in yoga therapeutics, anatomy, mindfulness and energy studies. She has taught at area health clubs, yoga studios, hospitals, senior centers, synagogues and businesses in Acton, Concord, Carlisle, Devens and Lincoln. Her inspiration comes from numerous yoga styles, decades of dance training, and from her sensitivity to her students’ needs and energies.
