Gentle Yoga with Energy Balancing Workshop

This gentle yoga practice helps to deeply heal and nurture all systems of the body while un-doing tension. In this workshop, we combine gentle postures and movements with ancient yogic techniques such as three-part
breath (expanding the lungs in connection with the spine), and positive affirmations of the seven chakras (energy centers of the body) to bring greater vitality, calm, and well-being. The workshop ends with a guided
meditation/relaxation, which activates the parasympathetic nervous system to reduce stress hormones and deeply heal all systems of the body as balance is re-established. You must be able to lie on your back and on
your stomach (with the support and cushioning of blankets and bolsters, if needed).
