Gentle Energy Balancing Yoga Workshop

Learn a gentle and simple yoga practice that optimizes energy systems of the body as we activate the seven chakras. Chakras are energy centers that run along the spine, and we will gain a greater understanding of how to optimize these powerhouses physically, emotionally, spiritually and energetically as we explore the basic characteristics and functions of each chakra. The workshop ends with a deep, healing-guided meditation/relaxation, which activates our parasympathetic nervous system to reduce stress hormones and induce feelings of calm, clarity and vitality. You must be able to lie on your back and on your stomach (with the support and cushioning of blankets and bolsters, if needed). All props are provided; mats available, if you don’t own one. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
