If you can’t quite get a grip on your eating, you’re probably having trouble getting a handle on your food-related fears. That’s because fear and the diet mentality go hand in hand. Even if you’ve stopped trying and failing to diet down to size, that doesn't stop you from fearing what will happen if you eat too much of that, and not enough of this. But what is fear and what are we so afraid of... generally and specifically around eating? After entertaining these question, participants will have a chance to do what waist watchers are so reluctant to do -- face their food-related fears vs. run from them. Finally, you'll learn a simple self-compassion practice for alleviating fear.
