Ideal for athletes looking to stretch, and for all ages and abilities looking for a gentle, slow-tempo class. Involves some floor work.

Severina Gates

Severina has trained extensively under creator Miranda Esmonde-White, and is the first fully-Certified Level 4 Essentrics instructor in Massachusetts. With 14 years of experience in ballet, she has worked with a variety of clients, including seniors, new moms and working professionals of all ages. She also works as a Mentor Trainer for the Essentrics Teacher Training department, helping instructors all around North America through the certification process and leading mini Teacher Training workshops.

Wendy Madden

Wendy Madden is a level 4 certified Essentrics instructor. She has an educational background in therapeutic recreation, has raised four children, and is a call firefighter/EMT. She swims, cycles, runs, and has hiked all 48 “four thousand footers” in New Hampshire with her daughter. Active in athletics her whole life, she sees Essentrics as the balance needed to help stretch, strengthen, and prevent injury. “If I see you in class, I don’t care if you’re slow, fast, in shape, out of shape, thick or thin. If you’re in class, I’m rooting for you.”
