Dr. Nancy Sweeney has long pursued a study of why seemingly simple changes are so hard to make. She is a clinical psychologist with more than 20 years in private practice in Arlington, MA. She did her graduate work at Harvard University and at William James College (formerly the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology). She is also a clinical instructor in psychology at Cambridge Health Alliance, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital. Her additional interests include her work with the Asylum Network of the Physicians for Humans Rights, and the culture of Mexico and Central America. A long-time meditator, she is an advocate of the benefits of mindful living.
