Sibling Prep - for children (ages 3-4 1/2)

A special class to prepare youngsters ages 3 - 4 1/2 for the arrival of a sibling. Siblings will be encouraged to talk about what babies are like and how it feels to be a big brother or sister. This class will include a child-oriented tour of the birthing center. We ask that a parent attend class with their child or children. Children may bring a picture of themselves as babies and a stuffed animal/doll. When registering, please just register your child.

PLEASE NOTE: CLASS IS HELD AT EMERSON HOSPITAL (MAIN CAMPUS) IN THE CHENEY A CONFERENCE ROOM, LOCATED PAST THE GIFT SHOP ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CORRIDOR.

Vicky Hopley

Vicky received a Bachelor of Arts from Albright College in family and child studies/pre-school education. After working many years as a pre-school educator in Lexington Public Schools, she returned to Wheelock College to pursue a master's degree in child life and family centered care. Vicky has been working as a child life specialist on the Pediatric Intervention Team, the children's emotional health team at Emerson Hospital, since 2007. She has four grown children.
