When we put our attention to walking it can enhance our vitality, coordination, balance, muscle tone, gracefulness and our felt sense of well-being. When walking really fits our body, it acts as self-massage for relieving unnecessary held tension. Aston® Kinetics introduces you to a new way of moving for increased balance, comfort and ease in everyday activities. In this two-part workshop, discover effective ways to release tension held in your arms, legs and back, learn movements designed to improve your posture, exercises to build and balance tone throughout your whole body, and how to bring these changes into walking and other activities.
The first 90-minutes will be taught online on May 16. The following week. on May 23, we will meet outside of the Steinberg Wellness Center under the entrance awning to apply the changes and put your new body into action during a walking clinic. Wear clothing comfortable for movement, your walking shoes, and a mask.
