As a birth doula, Maria regularly supports women through the labor process, and throughly enjoys working with families as they prepare to welcome their new members. Maria previously taught preschool and elementary school, and now appreciates facilitating adult learning in Emerson's Natural Childbirth classes. She remembers how important this preparation was for her two births 15 and 17 years ago.
