Prenatal Yoga for a Healthier Pregnancy
Led by certified prenatal yoga instructor, this mixed-level yoga class teaches postural strengthening, safe stretching, breathing and relaxation techniques. The class is designed to help mothers-to-be prepare for birth and feel better during pregnancy. No previous yoga experience required. Wear loose, comfortable clothing, bring a yoga mat, a firm cushion or large towel or blanket (folded up) to sit on, and a bottle of water. You MUST bring a permission form signed by your OB or midwife stating that you are healthy enough to exercise.

Michele O'Toole, RYT, RN, BSN
A yogi and a nurse, Michele began practicing yoga in 1988. Certified in Forrest Yoga in 2005 and pre-natal yoga in 2011, she has continued throughout her adult life to practice and study various yoga disciplines. In 2000 she studied Ashtanga yoga in Mysore, India, with Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois and studied Indian philosophy with a local Indian professor. She continued her yoga practice through the years. She loves teaching yoga because she enjoys helping others find out for themselves how yoga can effect positive change in their lives.
